Arm M55 and U55 Performance Optimization for Edge-based Audio and Machine Learning Applications

SPEAKERS

Chief Technology Officer
Available from October 6

Innovations in audio combine machine learning with traditional signal processing.

This session explores the computational capabilities of the recently released Arm Cortex-M55 and Ethos-U55 processors. We profile a variety of common audio workloads on the M55 - all optimized with Helium - and compare to the performance of existing Cortex-M and Cortex-A processors. Moreover, we explore the improved efficiency of machine learning inference that is possible leveraging the Ethos-U55.
