Reinhard Keil is Founder of Keil Elektronik GmbH and co-author of several key software products such as Keil C51, Keil C166, and µVision. Since its introduction in 1988, the Keil C51 has been the leading ANSI C compiler for the 8051 microcontroller family.
In October 2005, Keil Software was purchased by Arm, having anticipated the shift from 8-bit to 32-bit microcontrollers.
Since then, Reinhard has been responsible for embedded software development solutions and defining the software strategy for Arm microcontrollers.
