Grant Likely is a Linux kernel developer and community leader who is best known for his work on Devicetree which enabled Arm Linux to remove platform-specific code and build generic kernel images.

He has also maintained several Linux subsystems and platforms, served on the organizing committee of the Linux Kernel Summit and Linux Plumbers Conferences, and is a past chair of the Linux Foundation's Technical Advisory Board.
