There is growing industry consensus that 5G RAN requires hardware acceleration to support the digital baseband processing needed to handle expected traffic growth.

To realise optimal performance, flexibility and cost benefits from hardware acceleration, three practices have gained prominence: cloud-native principles, ORAN-compliance and running on COTS.

In this session, our panelists will explore how Arm, Mavenir, NVIDIA and Vodafone are working together to develop an ORAN-compliant, Massive MiMo, 5G vRAN system, with full inline processing using Arm's Neoverse servers, Mavenir's L2 application, and NVIDIA A100 GPU and Aerial SDK.
